Abstract
This report provides an overview of the tax and benefit systems for Ireland between the years of 2007 and 2011. It also provides information on the Irish 2008 data component of EUROMOD, the tax-benefit microsimulation model for Europe. It provides a detailed description of the modelled tax-benefit instruments in the model and provides validation of the baseline output relative to external statistics.
