EU network of independent experts in education and training

Selina McCoy has been appointed as the Irish national expert at the European Commission Independent Experts in Education and Training, organised by PPMI Group. The aim is to provide DG EAC (Education and Culture) with critical insights on:

- The Irish situation in relation to ongoing or planned education policies/reforms and;

- Progress towards related objectives set at national and EU level.

In particular, the role consists of regular assessments of the Irish National Reform Programme, analysis of progress in relation to EU targets and thematically-based monitoring and analysis. This research is funded by DG EAC.
