Joint research agreement with Department of Rural and Community Development

On 13 September 2019, Michael Ring T.D., Minister for Rural and Community Development, welcomed the signing of a joint research agreement between the Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD) and the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI).

The DRCD supports projects and initiatives in communities throughout Ireland. This three year research programme will assist the Department in measuring the impact of those supports. In turn, the work will help to inform how the Department develops its programmes and targets expenditure more effectively into the future.
