Research Requirements on All-Island Economy Agenda

One of the core elements of the programme, funded by IBEC is to develop a macroeconomic model of Northern Ireland, in collaboration with the National Institute for Economic and Social Research (NIESR) in London, similar to what is presently available for Ireland and the UK.  Separately, a second strand of research is more micro-focussed and a study examining the structure of international goods trade for Ireland and Northern Ireland is underway.
