Monitoring Migrant Integration in Ireland and COVID-19
Hosted by the ESRI, this online event will present the findings of two new studies of migrant integration in Ireland: 'Monitoring report on integration 2020' and 'COVID-19 and non-Irish nationals in Ireland.' The studies are from the ESRI/Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth research programme on integration and equality.
Presentations will examine the integration of non-Irish nationals in Ireland in key life domains: employment, education, social inclusion and active citizenship pre-COVID 19. They will also compare job losses due to Covid-19 of non-Irish and Irish nationals using 2020 Labour Force Survey data and statistics on COVID-19 cases and deaths by nationality and ethnicity.
