Providing research-based evidence for digital and green transitions in Ireland

This event has reached full capacity. Please email liz.coyle@esri.ie to join the waiting list.

The vision of a climate-neutral, sustainable, and digitally connected Ireland is outlined in the 2020 Programme for Government – Our Shared Future*, while The National Development Plan 2021-2030* recognises that guaranteeing existing and future international telecommunications connectivity is critically important to support the future needs of society and enterprise in Ireland.

This conference will present research from the Electronic Communications Research Programme at the ESRI 2022-2025, a joint programme of research between ESRI researchers, ComReg and the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications. An eminent internet and digital economics academic from Berlin Dr Volker Stocker will present work from the European and international perspective.
