The Changing Social Worlds of 13 Year Olds

Join us online for the launch of a new report exploring the social worlds of 13 year olds.

The study looks at changes in 13-year-olds’ relationships with their parents and peers, in their day-to-day activities and in their experiences of school.

It draws on data on Growing Up in Ireland (GUI) Cohorts ’98 and ’08 to document changes in the lives of adolescents over the period 2011/12 to 2021/22.
