Why Do People Do That?! Lessons from 10 Years of the ESRI’s Behavioural Research Unit

On Wednesday 29 November, we will host a morning workshop to mark 10 years of the ESRI’s Behavioural Research Unit. The event will take place from 9.30-12.45. 

The workshop will include presentations on how behavioural science can be applied to policy issues, including:

  • Encouraging greener behaviour
  • Supporting healthier choices
  • Improving financial decisions

A keynote presentation from Faisal Naru, founder of the OECD’s behavioural team, will describe the global expansion of behavioural research for policy. Participants will also discuss:

 

  • How can we use behavioural research better?
  • What other kinds of policy problems might benefit from behavioural research?
  • How can behavioural research be used to improve policy and business decisions?
