Agnes Aylward

Agnes Aylward (nee Agnes Breathnach) was a Research Assistant in the ESRI from 1974 until 1976. She later worked at the National Office for Science and Technology. Following that she worked in the Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism and then as Director of Strategic Development, Teagasc. From 2001-2009 she was Director of the Ireland Newfoundland Programme in the Department of the Taoiseach and chaired committees in EU, UN, OECD and the European Space Agency.
