Akhila Rajesh

Akhila Rajesh joined the ESRI in January 2025 as a Research Assistant in the economic analysis division. She holds a MSc in Economics and Data Analytics from University College Dublin. 

Akhila has previously worked as at IGEES (Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service) as an Intern with the Evidence into Policy Program (EiPP) unit at the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth. Contributed to research on public expenditure on children, the gender pay gap in Ireland and the policy assessment of the HSE Adult Disability Day Services.

At ESRI, her research focuses on climate, specifically developing a time series analysis of Ireland's production-based and consumption-based emissions using the I3E model.
