Brendan Wade
Research Assistant
Brendan Wade joined the Economic Analysis division as a Research Assistant in May 2024. His work at the ESRI primarily focuses on researching electricity markets for high levels of variable renewable generation and is in partnership with the Energy Systems Strand at NexSys.
Prior to working with the ESRI, Brendan worked as an IGEES (Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service) intern with the Climate Research Unit at the Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery & Reform. Brendan holds an MSc in Applied Economics from University College Dublin and a B.A. in Economic & Social Studies from Trinity College Dublin.
