Luke Doyle

Luke Doyle joined the Economic Analysis Division at the ESRI as a Research Assistant in September 2024. He holds an MSc in Economics and Policy Analysis from the University of Limerick and previously interned at the Irish Fiscal Council, where he developed a sentiment analysis algorithm to review historical government documents and explored systemic forecasting errors.
At the ESRI, Luke’s work focuses on macroeconomics, specifically maintaining and updating COSMO (Core Structural Model of the Irish Economy), a macro-econometric structural model used for forecasting and policy analysis.
