Shiwani Varal

Shiwani is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Economics Analysis division. She is currently part of the energy and environmental research team. 

Shiwani will receive her PhD from the University of Nottingham (UK) in 2024. Her main research interests include emerging economies, policy evaluation, corporate social responsibility, applied econometrics, and sustainability. Shiwani holds an MSc in Finance and Investment from the University of Hull (UK) and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Political Science from the College of Wooster (Ohio, USA). Previously, she worked as a teaching affiliate for MSc and undergraduate students at the University of Nottingham, including serving as a visiting lecturer in Applied Econometrics.
