Consumer Sentiment Index, February 2013

Consumer sentiment decreased in February to 59.4, from 64.2 in January. This decrease follows two months of larger movements in December and January. The 3-month moving average decreased to 57.8 in February from 59.3 in January. The index fell below the 12-month average of 61.9.
