ESRI Research Strategy 2014-2018

Over the next five years, Ireland will continue to face many challenges associated with the final stages of economic adjustment. The Institute's skill sets leave it well placed to address key issues in major policy areas. The Institute's Research Strategy will ensure that the Institute can contribute evidence to inform policy debate and decision-making at this critical time for the Irish economy. It outlines the Institute's priority actions for the next five years, building on the direction set in the 2008-2013 Strategy. The Research Strategy lays out where the ESRI is planning to focus its research efforts over the coming five years, and outlines the key actions it will take to realise its objectives.
