EPA Research Programme

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) research programme in environmental economics covers a range of projects in the areas of environment and public health, behavioural science, and climate change. Running over a two-year period from August 2022, the current programme covers eleven projects on topics such as the healthcare costs of poor air quality; the identification of barriers to climate mitigation behaviours; and the calculation of consumption-based greenhouse gas emissions for Ireland.
