Interim evaluation of the European Education Area

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture has commissioned a study to support the interim evaluation of the European Education Area (EEA). The study is being implemented by the PPMI-Verian consortium. ESRI researchers are undertaking a case study in Ireland, examining the 2019 Wellbeing Policy Statement and Framework for Practice. The research will assess the extent to which the EEA (operationalised through different activities) contributed to this reform and evidence on the results of the initiative. The research will include interviews with key stakeholders in this area, as well as policy and empirical analysis.
