Caoimhe Dempsey

Caoimhe joined the ESRI in January 2024 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Social Research Division, working with the Education team. Prior to joining the ESRI, Caoimhe completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Cambridge. Her research interests include child, family and school factors that influence the success of children’s school transitions and longitudinal educational outcomes. Caoimhe holds a MPhil in Psychology from the University of Cambridge and a Ba in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin. She previously worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Otago in New Zealand.
