Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission Research Programme

The ESRI has agreed a new two-year research programme with the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission (IHREC). The objective of the programme will be to enhance knowledge on equality and human rights, to provide evidence for equality and human rights monitoring and for the development of policy. There will be a specific focus on economic equality. The research will build on earlier, successful research programmes between IHREC and the ESRI, which addressed equality legislation and human rights, with a particular focus on economic, social and cultural rights.
