Peer Counselling Programme
ESRI researchers Caoimhe Dempsey and Selina McCoy are lead experts in a Peer Counselling programme. They will facilitate discussion and collaboration and prepare a report to be published by the European Commission.
Peer Counselling is an instrument part of the framework for European cooperation whereby experts offer policy advice to a country undergoing structural reform by peers from countries with experience in the relevant policy area. It aims to help countries find solutions to their national challenges. The latest round is providing guidance to Poland on designing and implementing curriculum reforms in schools.
It involves peers from three EU Member States (Ireland, Netherlands, and Portugal), the European Commission and researchers and policymakers in Poland.
