Daire McCoy
Daire is a Research Officer at the Grantham Research Institute at the London School of Economics. His work there focuses on energy and resource economics, particularly energy efficiency, energy demand modelling and policy evaluation. Daire was based at the ESRI from March 2012 to October 2016. During this time he completed a PhD in Energy Economics at TCD, and a Post-Doctoral fellowship at the ESRI, starting in October 2015. He also holds a BSc in Statistics and an MA in Economics from UCD. He also worked for the ESRI as a Research Assistant in 2014, on a short-term project commissioned by the Department of Finance, investigating the relationship between location choice of multinational enterprises and corporate tax rates.
