Terry Baker

Terry Baker joined the ESRI in 1964 having worked in Tanzania and in the UK. He spent the rest of his career at the Institute, and, with the exception of a 10 year period, was the main author of the Institute?s Quarterly Economic Commentary (QEC). He initiated the QEC in 1968 in response to a need for commentary on Ireland?s economic performance and for short-term economic forecasts. His ESRI publications can be accessed on the ESRI website.
