Who pays for renewables? the effect of datacentres on renewable subsidies

This study finds that subsidies added to consumers’ electricity bills for renewable energy will increase in order to support the renewable energy required to meet the demands of datacentres. Residential and other commercial consumers would be required to cover some of this cost.
