Mel Devine

Mel Devine worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the ESRI from September 2015 to December 2017. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and BSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Limerick (UL). His research interests include the mathematical modelling of energy markets, game theory optimisation as well as stochastic and risk based modelling. In addition, Mel has also worked on numerous industrial based collaborative projects. Currently, he is a research fellow in Energy Systems Modelling and Optimisation at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in University College Dublin (UCD).
