Ada Sophia Hahn

Ada joined the ESRI in November 2024 as Policy Officer in the Irish National Contact Point of the European Migration Network (EMN) based in the ESRI. The overall objective of the EMN is to improve the availability of, and access to, information concerning migration and asylum at European and Member State level in support of policy and decision-making in the EU.

She holds a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Maastricht University and a MA in Transnational Governance from the European University Institute (EUI) with a specialization in migration studies. Prior to joining the ESRI, Ada worked as Research Associate with the EUI’s Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies based in Florence supporting research on security assistance provision as well as on migrant decision-making. She previously also conducted fieldwork across Italy, Lebanon, Palestine, and in the United Arab Emirates.
