Brendan Duggan
Brendan joined the ESRI as a Research Assistant with the Growing Up in Ireland team in July 2021. He holds a B.A in Economics and Sociology from Maynooth University, an M.A in Cognitive Science from University College Dublin, and an M.Sc. in Applied Social Research from Trinity College Dublin. His Master’s dissertation from Trinity investigated the influence of joint replacement in the trajectory of cognitive performance among older adults, using mixed effects modelling of 4 waves of data from the Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA).
He previously worked as a Research Assistant at Trinity College Dublin at TILDA, and as a Regulatory Officer with the Healthcare Regulation team at the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA).
