Conor Banahan
Conor Banahan joined the ESRI in September 2024 as a Research Assistant in the economic analysis division. Prior to joining the institute Conor worked as an intern on the labour market and skills team under Dr. Adele Whelan. He also has experience as a teaching assistant in Dublin City University (where he did his undergraduate degree in Business Studies) and Trinity College Dublin (where he completed his MSc in Economics) working on modules including Mathematical and Statistical Methods, Econometrics and Forecasting, Intermediate Micro-and-Macroeconomics etc.
In his master’s Dissertation, Conor examined how staggered statutory minimum wage changes affected the composition of intra-industry wage differentials using recent advancements in the Differences-in-Differences literature.
