Dervla Potter
Dervla joined the ESRI in October 2023 as Information Officer within the Irish National Contact Point of the European Migration Network (EMN), which is based in the ESRI. The overall objective of the EMN is to improve the availability of, and access to, information concerning migration and asylum at European and Member State level in order to support policy and decision-making in the EU.
Dervla holds a BA in Human Rights from the Irish Centre of Human Rights in the University of Galway and an MA in Refugee Integration from Dublin City University. She is a PhD Candidate in the School of Applied Linguistics and Intercultural Studies (SALIS) in DCU where she is researching statelessness and forced displacement.
Prior to joining the ESRI, Dervla worked with international and national NGO’s based in Ireland in the field of humanitarian emergency response and youth justice.
