Yazmin de Barra

Yazmin is a summer intern within the Irish National Contact Point of the European Migration Network (EMN). The overall objective of the EMN is to improve the availability of, and access to, information concerning migration and asylum at European and Member State level in order to support policy and decision-making in the EU.

Yazmin holds a B.A in Middle Eastern and European Languages and Cultures from Trinity College Dublin where her bachelor thesis focused on educational policies relating to migrant youths in Germany. She is currently doing a M.A in Sociology with a focus on Migration and Ethnic Studies at the University of Liège.
