Eva Slevin
Eva joined the ESRI as a Research Assistant in the Social Research Division in October 2024. She holds an MSc in Social Data Science from the University of Oxford, focusing on advanced quantitative methodologies and their applications to social questions. She completed her thesis in August 2024, exploring the application of non-conventional data sources to study wildlife trade using established and novel methodologies. She also worked on projects examining heat risk and social vulnerability, and the integration of climate change into AI policy.
She received her BSc in Geography and Political Science & International Relations from UCD in 2023. During this time she completed two theses and a number of research projects, focusing on a range of social questions from climate change to risk perception during the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior to joining the ESRI she worked as a Research Assistant at the Oxford Internet Institute.
