Janez Kren

Janez Kren is a Research Officer in Microeconometrics & Statistics in the Economic Analysis Division, working primarily on housing, international trade, and the digital economy. His other research interests include applied econometrics, economic geography, small business economics, and data visualization.

He holds an MSc and a PhD in Economics from KU Leuven and has previously worked as a researcher and teaching assistant at KU Leuven, as well as a short-term consultant at the World Bank. He joined ESRI in November 2020 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
