Stefanie Sprong

Stefanie joined the Economic and Social Research Institute as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Social Research Division, in July 2022. She holds a BA in Liberal Arts & Sciences from University College Utrecht and a MSc in Migration, Ethnic Relations and Multiculturalism from Utrecht University. She is currently completing her PhD in the Department of Sociology at Trinity College Dublin. In her PhD research, she examines academic achievement gaps by migration background in Ireland and explores the potentially equalising role of early childhood education and care.
