ESRI researchers addressed the Oireachtas Special Committee on the withdrawal of the UK from the EU

On Monday 22 February 2021, ESRI Director Alan Barrett and ESRI researcher Martina Lawless spoke to members of the Oireachtas Special Committee about the withdrawal of the UK from the EU.

Prof. Barrett and Dr. Lawless spoke about the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement, discussing its impact on the Irish economy, businesses and households. They also provided an analysis of the wider impacts of Brexit on Ireland.
