Anita Vollmer
Anita joined the ESRI in July 2023 as a Research Assistant on the Energy, Environment and Infrastructure team. She holds a BSc in Environmental Sciences from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, an MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Leeds, and an MA in European Economic Studies and Public Policy Analysis from the College of Europe.
Her Master’s theses focused on the potential of advertising restrictions and modal shift transport policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Anita previously worked as a Junior Researcher at the European Roundtable on Climate Change and Sustainable Transition and has a particular interest in ecological economics and policies which enable a just transition to an economy which functions within planetary boundaries.
