Pranav Kakkar
Pranav joined the ESRI in February ‘23. He holds a MSc. Economics from Trinity College Dublin and BSc. Economics and Management from the University of London. His research interests include Economic History, Development Economics, Energy and Environmental Economics.
His dissertation was titled ‘Income and Expenditure Dynamics for Households with Child Labour in the Late Nineteenth Century: Analysis from Western Europe and the United States’. Which investigated the household policy implications for fighting child labour.
At ESRI, he is working on Energy and Environmental research. Alongside, he is also a lecturer at Griffith College Dublin, teaching Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Business Maths and Statistics.
