Maxime Bercholz
Maxime Bercholz is a research analyst in the Tax, Welfare and Pensions team, in which he previously worked as a research assistant between 2017 and 2019. More recently, he held a research associate position at the Global Food Research Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill until 2025, where he researched the impact of front-of-pack labels and indirect taxes on food and beverage purchases.
Maxime holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy, political science, economics and sociology and a master's degree in economics from Trinity College Dublin. His research interests centre on the determinants of intra- and intergenerational disadvantage with a focus on income, education and health.
Outside of work, Maxime loves to spend time with his family, go on hikes, play music, cook, and hang out with his friends.
