Agathe Simon

Agathe joined the Economic and Social Research Institute as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Social Research Division, in June 2023. She completed a PhD in Economics at the University of Strasbourg (France). Her PhD thesis focused on unemployment benefits systems and poverty in Europe.

Agathe’s main research interests include labour economics, poverty and inequality. Previously, Agathe worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Strasbourg. Additionally, she has worked as an external consultant at the OECD at the Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs.
