Electronic Communications Research Programme
This programme aims to carry out research relevant to policy and regulation of the communications sector in Ireland. Research topics planned fall within four areas: Digital inclusion and consumer demand modelling; Climate and sustainability; Consumer experience issues, and Cybersecurity.
Funding is being provided by the Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg), the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC), and the ESRI is contributing a range of technical, administrative, and other resources.
